Delta Dental of Oklahoma Names Chief Sales Officer

Delta Dental of Oklahoma, the state’s leading dental benefits provider, today announced Lan Miller has been named chief sales officer. Miller has served Delta Dental of Oklahoma for nearly 20 years and assumes the title of chief sales officer after serving as the vice president of sales for seven years.

OGE Energy Corp. Foundation announces 2021 OG&E Positive Energy Scholars, awards total of $180,000 in scholarships

This week, OG&E recognized three high school seniors as its 2021 OG&E Positive Energy Scholars. Each Positive Energy Scholar will receive $15,000 per year, which is renewable annually for up to four years, or a total of $60,000 to cover tuition, books, fees and on-campus room and board.

Marian University Launches Accelerated Nursing Progam in OKC

Marian University launched their third Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program site in OKC in January of 2021, in addition to sites located in Indianapolis, IN and Nashville, TN. This second-degree, 16-month program allows students to earn their BSN by leveraging their first bachelor's degree in a non-nursing field. The OKC program was recently featured on KOCO News 5.

Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG&E), a subsidiary of Oklahoma City-based OGE Energy Corp. (NYSE: OGE), announced today that it will expand its Choctaw Nation/OG&E Solar Energy Center in Durant, Oklahoma by an additional 5-megawatts (MW), bringing the total solar capacity to 10 MW.
